Sex Worker Advocate NYC

I will be moving to the city (or at least very close to it) in a few months. I recently had an ah-ha moment and realized (as people can see from my previous posts) that I admire sex workers and would like to become an advocate to help them find resources, provide counseling (if I am qualified), just give them a helping hand. I am not sure if I could make a career out of this but at the least, I would like to volunteer at an organization where I could help the cause, per se. Would anyone be able to give me advice about orgs to reach out to or some direction on what I should do? thanks. Oh, I am a gay man and would obviously like to help gay men more than anyone else but I would, of course, help non-gay men too.
