Anyone know if this Cali Hotel Company (Joie de Vivre Hospitality) is a decent company in regards to the many issues raised here in this community?

Can't really answer your question but the hotel in Los Angeles/Brentwood If I am not mistaken used to be a Days Inn. Looks pretty standard to me nothing too fancy but looks comfortable.

I stayed in one in San Fran and could not have more disappointed. I am sorry to say. It was small. Boutique-like. The rooms were small. The bathroom was small. The sink was small. GO TO THE Marriot.
