He attracted my attention to...anybody met with him?

Had something set up with him about 2 weeks in advance. The day before he said his plans changed as he wanted to go hiking and couldn't do it. The day of he messaged again and asked if I would be available that afternoon should his plans fall through. I told him I wasn't there to be on standby for him... frustrating.
