Hotel question

OUCH $329 a night? I would rather not pay that much and am locked in for a rate at the Indigo for a much lower rate then the $329. I guess I am lucking out over all for the time that I am going to be in Chicago for conventions.

Edit: Just checked the conventions going on in the city and est. number of people attending conventions is at about 38,000 people give or take. Not a lot of folk in town for the week or weekend.
