All the above are Oxford World's Classics. When I was young I liked Penguin but now Oxford.

 

Aelian "On Animals Book 1-5". This is a Loeb Classical Edition. Greek on one page with English on the opposite page.

I bought books today too:

 

Swann's Way by Marcel Proust

 

Olivia de Havilland and The Golden Age of Hollywood by some "great" author, Ellis Amburn.

 

At least de Havilland is still alive!!

But Homer will live in hearts forever!

 

I wonder if grade school students even know about the Trojan Horse? Btw it's not in the "Iliad".

 

When they hear Homer they probably think of "The Simpsons? :(:(:(:(
