I've been watching "The Purge" on the USA Network. In the recent episode the joke was told:

 

What's the difference between a penis and a Christmas bonus?

 

The wife will blow the Christmas bonus.

 

 

How times have changed since the days when the word pregnant could not be said on "I Love Lucy".

Ah. That was in 1952, when "Lucy" was the top rated show on TV.

 

 

 

Lucy and Desi's home in Beverly Hills. She lived there for the rest of her life. I was there in 1969, and turned around in her driveway. Jack Benny lived next door; Jimmy Stewart across the street.

At the same time homosexuality didn't exist on TV.

It's amazing to see how much it has changed. I like Suits on the USA network. They use the f-word several times in recent episodes. It would never have made it past the censors in earlier years.
