My DVR stopped recording with 30 seconds left to the program tonight. Who got canned ... Cheech or Lea?

Don't be embarrassed. I want to watch the show to see cutie Jay Hernandez, but I haven't had time yet. LOL

 

Actually I haven't be able to watch Queer Eye for a VERY long time. Is Jay still as cute as ever? :-)

Cuter (this spelling looks wierd) if that's even possible - and he seems like a really nice guy too - and IMHO I think he is the best singer there.

 

Doesn't he spell his name Jai?

 

Is anybody turned off by Hal Sparks or is it just me?

Does anyone else think it is a little unfair to have Jai participate in the show? After all, he played the part of Angel in Rent on Broadway a few years ago. I'm not sure how fair it is to have someone who has sung professionaly as part of the contest.

 

I do realize that Cheech has also had a musical career ... but I really don't think his "career" had anything to do with his singing ability.

Zip..Agree on Sparks looking a little Creepy. I think he's going for the Dave Navarro look, which just is not him!

 

I think he's trying a little to hard, to distance himself from QAF..IMHO of course LOL

 

Jai could Definitely be a Contender to play the Life Story of "Sal Mineo" also!

I don't think that one has been done yet? :P

I think Hal has forgotten he's no longer in the QAF role. His stage presence is a little off-putting but I am a fan. He has a brave spirit to have tackled a potentially career-altering role and I believe is now trying to regain some footing. I am reminded of Mary Tyler Moore who has never escaped being Mary Tyler Moore. Oh well!

I found him cute on QAF role. His constant whinning bugged me but I realize that was just a trait of the character he was playing. It did put me off more than a lttle that he took such pains to tell everyone who would listen that he was not gay. He was terrified to be thought of as one but didn't mind picking up the paycheck for playing one.

 

Sort of like Eric McCormick on Will & Grace.

 

On the subject of Sparks - saw him on a TV interview show several years ago during his QAF fame. The interviewer asked him if it was true that he had a very long tounge. He said yes, and proved it by sticking his tounge out for the audience to see (they were mostly females). Well I swear to god, it was the longest tounge I have ever seem. Almost made him look like a freak. It was so long that I would have thought he would have found it a hinderance when speaking. If he was rimming you he could clean your navel from the inside at the same time.

 

To give him credit however, he comes across as being very polite on the Duets show when the judges are giving their critique. I wish he would loose the soul patch!
