Since the title is dog lovers I have a German shepherd. Have had only a month as we found it wandering the streets and took him in. A small mutt 20lb and a border collie mix. 3 dogs, does that count as dog lover. Anyways since this is about a greyhound I have always been intrigued about fostering a greyhound as the German shepherd and small dog will be moving out with my house mate who is moving.

When Philip Howard during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I was in the Tower of London he had a greyhound for a companion. Sorry it's a religious site. I knew his story. But it was the only link that I could quickly find that identified the dog as a greyhound.
