No. Please don't hand out your card. I read the article and it did not once mention "escorts." If a man, married, gay or bi-sexual wants a male escort that is an entirely different subject and strays away from today's enlightening NYTimes article.

I wonder if Rod is possibly playing "Devil's Advocate" here ...

 

Something that came to my mind in reading the NY Times article was that, at least in France 30 years ago, I knew of a straight married man (the father of a fellow graduate student) who had a female mistress.

 

His wife knew about the mistress, knew who she was, and the Husband very much loved his wife and two daughters. The relationship had been going on for a number of years.

 

The older daughter led me to believe that this was not all that unusual in France then, and I wonder what the difference is (other than societal attitudes) between the folks discussed in the NY Times article, and the French Husband's situation....

Oh, so I forgot to tie this into Rod's question. If a man is looking for sexual experience without entering a second marriage with somebody who he could trust not to disrupt his primary method (especially if it were infrequent, or at least ``affordable'') in this case, why, exactly, would it be in poor taste to let him know about another possible option?
