Anyone been watching on Netflix?

I am late to the party, I know.

 

I like that I get to understand Japanese culture and personal interactions a lot more, through watching it.

It gets a bit repetitive, but watching 1 full season has been enjoyable.

Haven't noticed Terrace House up until now, but it looks interesting. I just added it to my NetFlix watch list. Meanwhile, I'm catching up on past seasons of Shameless.

I like that I get to understand Japanese culture and personal interactions a lot more, through watching it.

It gets a bit repetitive, but watching 1 full season has been enjoyable.

What struck me upon watching a few episodes of an earlier season of Terrace House was how formal the first meetings between these young Japanese men and women seemed, compared to shows here in the U.S. such as MTV's Real World or CBS's Big Brother. I have not watched a whole season of Terrace House but have watched every good, bad or ugly Big Brother season since its beginning in 2000! :rolleyes: I probably like BB best simply because they've always cast a number of hunky male cast members! The guys in the Terrace House episodes I've watched may indeed be quite cute but the physical 'hunks' seem few and far between.
