On the recent episode of "The $100,000 Pyramid" for the Winner's Circle one of the categories was "Famous British People (English)" and all the contestant could name was

I wonder where the contestant's mind went? I could name a dozen off hand beginning with the Queen.

Perhaps because Eddie Redmayne is a more difficult name to remember immediately. I remembered the play ("Red") Eddie did in New York before his name.

 

I do understand your point about Queen Eliz., but I would have thought about the prime minister first.

Jonathan Groff played his role in 'Red" in Los Angeles. I like Groff, but Redmayne is a better actor.

Mr. Redmayne took a nude dip in a river in My Week With Marilyn in 2011--a very agreeable film as I recall.
