For those of you who don't read the forum announcements when they're posted, Daddy has posted the following:

Every now and then it's time to remodel the house. M4M has grown steadily for the last few years to the point where our backbone connection has been swamped 24x7.

 

This weekend we'll be rearranging our backbone connections so that we have a larger pipe to work with. We'll be up and down most of the weekend. All the dust should settle by Monday morning.

Size queens rejoice! We're getting a bigger pipe!

 

Translation: we're making a change that SHOULD be fairly straightforward but often isn't. It could be done in an hour but it could also keep Daddy hopping non-stop for 48 hours or more. It will likely fall somewhere in the middle, or not. There's no predicting it.

And since some people don't notice announcements like this even, but they're good at spreading FUD when they can't connect, just chuckle and tell them Daddy is fiddling with his pipe.
