Any art lovers who live in the Los Angeles area or plan to be here between now and the end of June SHOULD make a beeline to the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art in order to view the five recently recovered Gustav Klimt paintings currently on display. Not only are the paintings magnificient (especially "Adele Blolch-Bauer I") but the story of their recovery from the Austrian government is both fascinating and heartwarming.
