I miss the days of no photos. With my day job, I have to be hyper aware of my surroundings. I think that comes with the other clientele that now goes to the shoe. It used to be understood and you can get away with a little and have a relaxed time, but I’m hearing that’s no longer the case. The dancers also want the content for their socials. I’ve been a little too wary to go recently because of it.

I’ve used rentmen a few times for this and they have been successful bookings. Usually more interactive that way than asking a dancer from a club, which I’ve done as well. I agree, being nice and upfront in your request is key.

So, I’ve always wanted to try being a dancer. I’m getting in good shape and I decide I’d like to try it for the hell of it. Maybe it’ll become a couple times a month thing. Who knows? Wondering if anyone knows of a low key spot outside of Chicago that I could see if I could come in a night or two to try it out. Because it’s a bucket list thing, distance doesn’t matter to me. In fact, because of my day job I’d rather somewhere not near the city. I got friends who go to Luckyhorse frequently (so do I) so I’d rather somewhere I don’t know anyone.
