Now, the electrical stimulation portion I have done and in conjunction with other types of "stimulation" such as clothespins etc. That's as far as I would be willing to go, and that was the younger more adventurous WG. Not the wiser, more cautious, and level headed current version! Now if you ever do try it Honcho, I would suggest that you bring your oboe. Something tells me that you would be able to eek out a high A above high G! Also you reference the Chicago Hellfire Club and their Raging Inferno summer play party. That is the pinnacle of S&M. Well all this talk about boiling water and sterilization reminds me of a true story, and having been involved with dentistry for four decades has produced quite a few interesting sagas. A couple of years ago a patient came into the office and said that his wife told him that he should sterilize his removable partial denture by boiling it in water. The prosthesis had a chrome cobalt metal base with acrylic teeth. As noted above his wife said that it needed to be boiled for a sufficient time in order to kill all the bacteria. Being an obedient husband he duly intended to boil the denture for about an hour. Unfortunately he lost track of time and when the he heard the screeching sound of the smoke detector and smelled something burning he suddenly ran into the kitchen only to find the blackened remnants of the metal base and the charred remains of the acrylic. He came down to the office a short time later asking if anything could be salvaged. My response was never to listen to anything that his wife tells him again. His response was that he usually didn't, but this one time he thought what she said made sense. One of many denture stories! Others have involved hospitals, the trash bin at a major hotel, trash pickup day, pets, and even a fireplace. Oh, and also a toilet, or two, or three... Most are funny in retrospect, but were not at the time that they actually occurred. Getting back on topic. If one is going to get involved with sounds under less that ideal conditions I would invest in some sort of pouches in which to store them as well as plastic lined coverings to place them on during play. Then keep your fingers crossed.

Again in a nutshell since boiling has been mentioned: Simple boiling does not sterilize it only disinfects. Of course again that's better than doing nothing. That is why autoclaves are utilized. Autoclaving adds extra pressure into the equation so as literally to blast the bugs and germs on instruments with steam long enough result in sterilization. The extra pressure in an autoclave means that water boils at a temperature higher than its normal boiling point of 100 degrees. The result being that it kills microbes more effectively. Since the temperature is about 120 degrees it is much more effective. In essence it is pressure cooking the bacteria and any bacterial spores. Of course in the case of sounds, the instruments would need to cool down after being disinfected by boiling or sterilized via an autoclave. Not doing so would add a further layer of heat laced kink into the an already kinky equation! Not preaching here, simply 'splaining!

Keeping things simple and in a nutshell, alcohol does not sterilize things. It really only acts as a disinfectant and only if there is sufficient contact time. Metal items such as sounds probably should be soaked for at least fifteen minutes for the maximum effect to occur. While this will kill bacterial cells by protein coagulation, membrane disruption etc. it will not not kill bacterial spores. Therefore the action is classified as a disinfectant and is of course better than doing nothing. Simply wiping the items most likely would not give sufficient time for the maximum effect to occur. This is especially important given the fact that the maximum effect still falls short of the ideal result which would be sterilization.

Not being judgmental here and I simply expressing my personal opinions based on personal experiences. Plus, being a retired healthcare professional certainly colors how I approach such types of play. The bottom line is that its emphatically not for me. The last time I had something done it was under the supervision of an MD and sterile instruments were utilized along with a sterile lubricant. Unless those parameters are meet I would not go near the thought with even a ten foot pole much less an 8 inch sound. Plus, and perhaps it was the setting and situation under which I experienced the procedure, it does not seem like something from which I personally would derive pleasure. In addition, a friend needs to have it done periodically for medical reasons. He almost was considering throwing in the towel to avoid the procedure. In any event, I've seen it done under horrendously filthy conditions. Not a good thing at all. Again, simply an opinion from someone who worked with sterilized instruments all his life. Nipple clamps, floggers, and paddles are more my style and again only when used in a responsible fashion. So I'll pass on sounding. Yeah, I know! I'm no fun!

Hey guys!!!! Here's a refresher course in nips 101 and it covers the placement of nipple clamps and clothespins. http://m4m-forum.org/threads/serious-nipple-play.100121 In fact this past weekend I was playing with a guy who liked nipple action but had always resisted using clamps. I convinced him to give it a try even though the only clamps that I had with me were Japanese clovers which are not adjustable. By placing them similarly to the way that the clothespins are shown in the above pic he was more than able to tolerate them. In fact he was surprised that he was able to wear them for a reasonable length of time. It was a good first experience. Plus by the time we got to the clamps his nips had already been warmed up with quite a bit advance finger action etc. so that they were more than ripe for the picking. By the end of the evening he had quite a smile on his face.

BIG LOL BVB!!!!!! I personally thought that the way the clothes pins were placed on his nips were kind of wimpy! When placed on the very tips they bite and give much more "pleasure"! :eek: However, still wonderful wonderful wonderful as both you and Lawrence Welk would say say!

Who want to create "eraser nips"! I met a guy the other night who was an expert at elongating nips. He showed me a homemade device that was constructed of parts purchased at Home Depot. It consisted of three pieces of clear flexible 3/8" tubing connected with a barbed T fitting. Each piece of tubing was no more than a foot long. Positioned with the T upside down you place two of the tubes over your nips. You suck the the air out of the third tubing and that creates a vacuum that pulls the nips into the two tubes that are placed over your nips. If you place some lube or lotion over the nips it helps create a better suction. Unlike snake bites etc., he says that it creates a better looking nipple. A nipple that looks more naturally elongated. I did not try it, but another guy did and you can literally see the nips being suctioned into the tubes. He said that it also felt quite good as well! So worth a try and it can be constructed for pennies! Hope this helps!

I have a friend who just made lifetime SPG Plstinum and has over a million points. She was the one who convinced me to save my Starwood points for retirement. Well I just retired and she is on the verge of doing so. It will be interesting to get her take on all of this. In any event, there are many lesser grade Starwood properties that are quite reasonable. This same friend told me about one on the outskirts of Rome that was about 8000 points a day. In addition, Starwood has a cash and points deal that I have used that can be quite reasonable as well. It's not always available and you have to do the math to see if it's a good deal. I'm not sure if Marriott offers something similar. Finally, you can exchange SPG points for Amazon and other gift cards. It's not the most cost effective way to use them, but if the transfer of points is not going to be equitable then that might be a valid alternative.
