You definitely need to seek out a teacher and mentor. However, and don’t freak out about this, the best doms have had experiences as subs along the way. It is not something that all doms have done, but that should be part of their training. Indeed the dom from whom I learned about all of this said that it was an important part of his training. Just like the best CEO’s worked their way up from starting in the mail room the best doms have learned from the bottom up as well. It is important for the dom to know what the other side of the equation is experiencing.

EXACTLY! It us debfiniteky more difficult and exhausting to be the dom! It is difficult work, plus one needs to be concerned that he is taking good care of the sub, giving him exactly what he wants, does not cross a line so as to exceed any limits, and most importantly not cause any injury.
