I gave NewYorkerMenSpa a try. Basically another Grandee location, had Luca who goes by Lee in the new spa. Rooms are really small and in a diagonal orientation. Convenient location at least. Won’t be back.

Thanks, Fawkeye! Gotcha. I tried all of them. Then Chuck was also Rosh at some point in the new location if he was Andy in the old loc, who was also at Energy, or still is. I think there were bad PR on him at some point, so maybe why the name change: really strong but borderline potential paralysis causing massage. John bounced across 4 different spas actually. Standard massage skills.

I havent tried choosing then and there yet, but the owner have encouraged me on several occasions that I can pick when I get there. I’m too shy for that. Haha!

And you would notice which spas are affiliated to one another, either coz same owners or social circle. I noticed how the IDs of licensed massage therapist they would post on the wall next to their reception areas are the same!

If you would recall, this isn’t the first time he left TSMS for extended periods. On those occasions, he went to California I heard.

Nope, the Andy Chen in Grandee is Chinese. Adam from TSMS left a while back. He’s Mongolian-Russian. No news where he went.

I saw the rentmasseur ad, that’s a different Andy Chen. The guy from Grandee is probably late 30s, early 40s, not muscular. Good massage but his hands are heavily calloused so it was distracting for me during the swedish part.

same happened to me with the upselling. massage skill - mediocre.

Yeah, they will reopen next week. All I was reporting is that they’ve been close coz of what happened. I got the news from the other masseurs.
