Did you just post another similar question using another "Newbies" name of @Super man? The misspelling mahattan can't be a mere coincidence!
If so, you might just be advertising for more NYC spa providers. Prove me wrong! 😁
It’s the “mild age” for me ✌️

Any other recommendation aside from Andy? Interested to check this place out.

Renew York on 8th Ave? If so, then not likely. They do hire new guys on occasion but it’s a mixed spa and Peter is the only sure thing.
Thanks @NYMassageAddict!

To be fair, I think he’s half Korean, half Chinese. I had the unfortunate experience of getting a massage from him at New Yorker Men Spa. He had to take a call mid-massage, he apologized it just important. He conversed with his mom in Korean.
That said, his massage skills really leave much to be desired.

Looks like mascaping/nail salon.

The pics are not his. He used to work at Hero Men Spa.

Had him at a few times at different spas coz he used different names, and yes the pics are not him. His massage was strong which I like, however he applies the same pressure to the spine area which was uncomfortable and worrisome I had to tell him to go lighter. I would suggest to try him at 27 Men first if that works for you..

Instead of a used (dirty) one!! Skip that.
OMG I was reminded of the state of their towels! Old looking and oily, very obvious that they are not using fresh towels for each client. And the hot towel smelled funky. 😖

So I pretty much crossed out Grandee and New Yorker Men Spa from my list, but New Yorker’s location is really convenient for me so I called and made an appointment few days ago. Thought I’d try someone new and maybe get lucky. BIG MISTAKE!
When I entered the room, I thought it smelled like a swamp. As I took off my shoes I realized the carpet is really wet. And it really stinks! I looked up and lo and behold: flooded ceiling! I asked to be transferred to a different room but was told all rooms were flooded couple of days ago.
I excused myself and left. I badly needed a massage that night but that smell of damp rug and dirty water cant be ignored. I have low expectation from Grandee/New Yorker, but this is just insane— operating a spa under such state!

I remember there’s an old thread on him as a fake.

Thanks, @JckBNimble You were the only person to respond to my request. I do appreciate it. I could not find New Paradise Spa at 435 Fifth Avenue. I was in that very block, but so many of the retail stores do not post an address, I just didn't find it.
But I did find the perfect massage and masseur. Since no one here responded to me but Mr. Nimble, I won't share my perfect find with you guys. But @JckBNimble you can DM me for the details.
Lol, what are you, 9 y/o? 😂 Sorry, I cant help it— too funny to ignore! ✌🏼

Time Square Men’s Spa TSMS
in Spas & Masseurs
Posted · Edited by Link
TSMS is practically Hero Spa reincarnated— same owner and initial masseurs. I remember the time when Hero was decent, then started to go downhill at some point. I feel the same happened to TSMS. I stopped going there as well due to the same complaints cited by forum members lately. It is still better than Energy or Grandee, but that’s a very low standard.
