I’ve never experienced this. In fact, when I am a regular, I get treated better.

But if something similar were to happen again, ask for the time back or just let it go?

I would let it go. But to minimize the chance of a similar situation happening again, if you think there is any chance you might want to top, I would say that while making the appointment.
