  1. I started a new thread, just to update this information for those that had questions about Johnson's in other older threads asking for current status. I was there last weekend (first weekend of February as well as first weekend in January) and both weekends: Johnson's Club was crowded both with patrons and 30+ dancers. It only costs $10 for the entire evening to take dancers to the lap dance curtained cubicles. You do get the wrist band, so you are only charged one time for the evening, no matter how many dancers or times you go back to the cubicles. The curtains now have to remain open 4-6 inches in the center but its hard for anyone in the main stage room to see inside, plus they are facing the other direction towards the stage and dance pole. The cost paid to the dancer is $20 per song and the partially open curtain did not put dent in the fun. There is also a $10 entrance fee charged if you arrive around 9pm, with reduced drink prices- beer and mixed drinks prior to 9pm. Mixed drinks are good size and strong. Bartenders are organized and real nice. There were a wide range of dancer body types and really beautiful dancers there. I like the venue much better than Boardwalk or LeBoys. Also Johnsons in The Place for male strip in Ft. Lauderdale and has hurt the other two male strip bars. There is a fairly quick rotation of the dancers with about 4-5 at one time on the main room stage/pole at one time and then one dancer on the side room bar/stage with a pole. The dancers work the room for tips, but are not pushy at all about lap dances.

  3. I was at Johnson's last weekend and yes the curtains were about 5-6 inches open but that did not inhibit the dancers and the fun to be had with them in the five lap dance cubicles. There must have been 30+ dancers there this last weekend Friday and Saturday, and similar number when I was there the first weekend of January. There are a range of dancers' builds. The bartenders are nice. There is $10 entrance fee beginning about 8-9 pm at night. The lap dance fee is only $10 for the whole night and you wear a band to show that you have been in a lap, to not be charged again. Wearing the lap dance band notices the dancers that you are interested. I didn't find the dancers to be pushy. The drinks are $8 each and good size. I have found Johnson's more fun and with really a good choice of hot, good looking guys, of various build types- more than previous times at Boardwalk or LeBoys. For me the stand out dancer both in January and last weekend was Alexander, who is muscular, ripped, beautiful but not a big muscular guy. He also does a great routine on the main stage or on the side bar stage both on the pole and his sexy movements and dancing.
