nusxxx got a reaction from santosh108 in Spas in NYC
I'm not so sure is this post (or replied) by any of PR team of one of these spa?!! I'm 100% as client. The room size of Greenhouse is bigger and I never experience anything wrong from the boys there. Not even asked about the tip during session as other spa you mentioned name. If you looked back from many post you would see few quality of those 2 spa were less quality than Greenhouse! Just sayin'!!!

Time square men’s spa is good and I used to rave about alven but he’s a complete entitled diva and isn’t happy with a $40 dollar tip for half an hour or $30? Ridiculous

U got all info corrected here. That's around $1,500 - $2,000 per week (more or as money of us went on debt from students loan). More than 80-100% tip often will created (built up) their ego then pick & choose clients from the outside look instead of treat us all equal when they first met (no judgment).

I don’t disagree that $12 or $10 is way low BUT... I’m also not in the camp of 100% tips. To each their own.
These guys could work at a Chinatown restaurant and make $10 an hour or they could do massage - the guys I’ve talked to say they would pick spa all day long. So they make the $20 fee and another $20-50 or more tip. That works out to $40-70 per hour. I understand they often can’t go back to back but the amount they make in a day (for being unlicensed, no professional training - is not a bad living. It’s not unheard of to make $300-500 in a day of work. 5 days a week let’s call it $2,000 in a week. $8,000 a month (tax free).

Ah don’t feel bad and don’t be surprised if you get the same snotty confused look even when you tip 50%. I’ve stepped away from Spa 27 for a bit. The massage sessions themselves haven’t been bad by any means, but there has been this entitled attitude that’s rubbed me the wrong way. I’m a generous tipper for a good session. I don’t appreciate the “that’s it” look.

Hey “Jason” - there is no need to fake an account and make up stories about your massage experiences at a new spa to try and drum up business. The members of this forum will happily try a new spa if one opens up. Just be the advertisement without the bull.
Tell us who you have working there, what they look like, their ethnicity (for those who care), and give us all an introductory deal to check out the new facilities.
So while I get a kick out of the bullshit accounts and the cringe-worthy fake experiences with terrible English, I personally find it more helpful and beneficial to just get the info I need. Also we’re not idiots.
K- Thankkkssssss byeeeeeee

Went to Times Square Spa last week. Saw three Asian guys in their twenties in the lobby when I entered. Clean and new looking spa but no showers available. Got a massage from Adam. His massage is on the deeper side and he does some intense stretching. Added some sensual elements. He has to leave the room three times which was awkward, twice to get hot towels. Not sure if I will be back. PM if interested in more details.

Haha fact is fact. Each one of us had variety experiences. Its free forum of opinion & sharing experiences. So,I just want to make sure this forum is not tricky by that therapist (himself) or the location of business with advertising hidden. Its very suspicious to end with "request / book him". It's not your problem. You guys can try but don't you think this replied is suspicious??? Be smart New Yorkers!

It happened with me as well at Times Square Men's Spa. My situation was Robin... He got confident toward to COCKY. To be honest, The massage i felt like he just did it just to pass the time. Probably he thought we (Clients) wouldn't know or feel that he couldn't care. I believe all of us in this room are generous with $$$ but many time you spoiled all this guys. That's why all about asked for the tips during session is happened or something like not pay attention of their job happened by they pick & choose. The end of the day they forgot what they job description is and look down at other (Even their own clients) !!!?! I'm going back to my Spas that i like in Chelsea!!!
