I’m not sure if I believe his story. I find him to be a dishonest person from my experience with him when I scheduled to see him. Before the pandemic began I had scheduled to see him and had booked a hotel and was in my hotel room waiting. In the few hours before our scheduled and agreed upon time, he went silent. It wasn’t until several hours after missing our session when he texted me back saying he decided not to fly to SF for some made up excuse which I can’t recall. I was shocked at how little the masseurs make when they are working as part of a spa. The place I use to go to in the Castro charged customers $130 for 50 minutes and I found out afterwards that the masseurs only make like $20-$25 an hour. Considering it is physically demanding work for a CMT, that's lousy wages to make a living on in San Francisco.
