i was looking for the Palm Springs thread and couldn't find it.  I did find this post, so thank you Oliver for creating it! 

My comment is concerning a place in Palm Springs that might be fun to patronize at some point, especially for those arriving early or staying longer.  It's call The Purple Room.   I'd never heard of it before today, but ran across it while surfing the Internet.  Looks like a fun place to see a show.  

Has anyone been to The Purple Room?
