We had a thread for 27 man spa, right? I can’t find it. And searching for “27” is not allowed because it is less than 3 characters.
Can someone give me a link to that thread?
This thread? https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/411-on-spa-27.137386/
It was about 9 pages in but it was also on my "watch list"

Ah, the eternal "29yo" lol Well, I'll probably still try him. He sounds interesting.

On a more positive note I just saw my new all time favorite commercial a few minutes ago, for Gain detergent - 2 kids sniffing their DILF dad's jockstrap! I kid you not. Apparently its new so I couldn't find a clip if it but I did find a complaint from a disgusted viewer here:
https://gain-detergent.pissedconsumer.com/newest-commercial-201807021293565.html
This commercial? lol

I can't stand the Trivago commercials. Mostly it's their spokesperson, but I also think it's annoying that they present themselves as something new when Kayak has been doing the same thing for years.

I looked at the tumblr link and I don't see that info anywhere? Says $120 and no discrimination-what am I missing?
Look at his rentboy.pro link.

Dylan looks after his regulars really well though. If you manage to come often enough that he remembers you, you get his best massage, which is incredible.
Mike does behave strangely, I am not into his massage. And Jason upsells so, not for me.
Totally understand your situation , I had Dylan for a four hands massage and felt he not only wasn’t good at massage but also put lots of attitude if you didn’t tip him well . Jason (is hella handsome and strong Asian ) &Michael( worked there for a while ) you need book them instead of Dylan . That’s my tips for Babylon .Did Mike from Babylon ever work at EMS? I was in Babylon awhile ago and thought I saw a masseur I recognized from EMS.

In NYC. (And not the hotel...)

Yes, who is he?
haha I started typing that the guy in my profile pic is 18yo and he was absolutely delicious! He was a bit shy but I did get a few pics of him before we moved on to the fun stuff.
I don't care if someone else doesn't like him because he's not 38yo, 220lbs and hairy. We all have our own tastes. To each their own!

To answer your question: No one is "forcing me".
To ask a question: Who is forcing you to comment on my comment ?
It's kind of funny (well, to me at least). I've been seeing all these thread about this guy or that guy, and most of them have been these very muscular, hairy guys, and mostly older, as in late 30's to 50's I'd guess. I kept thinking "nope, not interested" because I'm more interested in smooth, thin guys in their 20's. Instead of being judgmental and saying how gross these older, hairy guys are in the other threads, I thought - hey, people like what they like and we all have different tastes. No need to rain on their parade. I guess I was wrong. I should have called them names and talked down to them for not liking the same type of guys that I like. Who knew?

Now that’s an interesting comment... how many private masseurs use hot towels?? In my experience hardly any. And now as I really think about it, one reason I like the Spa experience is the hot towels. Very few private guys, in my experience use them.
Yeah, I probably use a shower more than get a hot towel when using a private massuer but still, I got nothing after Jacky’s massage, just some TP.
-
Geeze, I hope you paid for no more than 60 min. Intolerable!
Oh good lord, NO! While I was prepared for his $180/90 min rate plus a nice tip, I knew the massage had ended significantly less than the planned time. I check my phone as I got dressed (no hot towel, BTW... Just a wad of toilet paper to clean up!) and I saw it had only been about 50 min. I paid as close to his hourly rate as possible ($135 so I gave him $140 in 20's).
I like variety so I was hoping he could be a new guy to add to my options of masseurs. Obviously, that's not going to happen. I'm already talking to one of my regulars about meeting up next week. After this guy and a disappointing visit to 27 Men Spa the previous week, I need someone I can count on for my next session! haha

looked about average as far as I could tell.
Just had a massage with Jacky this afternoon. Supposed to be 90 min but I was in and out the door in less than 60 min. He does look like his pic, if not better, but the rest of the experience was sub-par. PM for details if you wish.
And less than average, for the record.

Maybe he really needed the money. Will serve him right if he loses his apartment because he can’t pay the rent. A few months of being homeless will teach him a valuable life lesson.
Wow, that was nasty and rude... What are you so bitter about?
-
Duh...You pay his published rate. You sound like a cheapskate to me.
Oh, the irony of someone named "Beancounter" calling someone a cheapskate!

Regardless of whether the client may or may not have seen the new rates, it's up to the masseur to disclose any changes in prices. If you go to a spa, prices are posted, but with an independent masseur, it is entirely possible that a client may never see the masseurs ad again after the initial booking. I have several masseurs' phone numbers in my phone and I contact them directly without looking for their ads. If the masseur wants their regular clients to pay the new rate, that's a conversation they need to initiate. A masseur would be stupid to think "Gee, I hope they saw my new rates online." I see a masseur privately who used to work at a spa. I used to pay the spa rate to see him, but now I pay more to see him privately (almost double what I used to pay, actually). I can certainly see the need to charge more going independent, and I choose to pay his new rate. However, if I paid $X to see someone last month and now they want to charge me $20, $50 more and there's no significant change in situation that I'm aware of, I will make the decision if he is worth the extra money. Ideally, he should tell me of the new rate at the time of booking my next appt. If he tells me as I'm paying after the massage is over, that's bad manners.
Raising rates on repeat customers usually isn't a good idea. As stated above, repeat clients are their bread and butter. It's easy money and no hassle. They know what the expectations are with their client; there's no stress about potential law enforcement; there's significantly less risk of no show or last minute cancellations, etc. If they want to test the waters to see if they can get more with new clients, then more power to them. As the client, I have every right to decide if I'm willing to pay the new rate. But thank you for your judgmental comment about being a cheapskate. Very helpful to the conversation!

I have the opposite reaction. I keep paying the rate I've always paid. As a regular customer, I don't feel the need to pay more. We're not talking about inflation and paying rates from 10-20 years ago. If the masseur wants to have the discussion that he needs to charge me more, then fine. I'll decide if I want to keep seeing that provider at the new rate.

I went through security in Tokyo with a metal anal speculum (similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Best-Surgical-Pratt-Rectal-Speculums/dp/B00IDCJLWU). The 60+ year old male Japanese security agent brought me into a private room for screening. He asked what is was/what is was used for. I explained. He was very confused and kept asking "Why? Why???" Had he been younger and cuter, I would have had him drop his pants to demonstrate!
If you're going to travel with toys, you have to be ready for someone to see them at any point in the trip, even if it's in a checked bag! I remember hearing a story of someone's checked bag coming out on the carousel damaged and the sex toy fell out. Could be an urban legend but still, it could happen easily.

He looks like he fell asleep at a party and someone who doesn't like him used a sharpie all over his body!

Maybe they had too many complaints about having to verify yourself via your FB acct.

So I haven’t been to Super Men in a long time. Stopped going after they raised their rates not long after opening. Their website shows $135 for 90 minute massage, which is $40-50 more than most other spas.
Two questions.. is this what they actually charge? How do guys tip given the higher rate?
I tip well at Spas knowing the masseur is only getting a small fee. I wonder what % Super Men gives to their masseurs?
I'd also like to know if the rates posted online are their actual fees or not. If so, they are definitely too high compared to other spas around, especially for a random masseur. Some spas (EMS for example) post high rates with some promo % off at varies times in the day. Posting here since the question was asked but not answered; but I guess I will call them to check if no one answers here soon.

And the spa on top of this list is the least known
Well, it is the newest, at least in name. 27 Men Spa used to be Sunny Boy until a month or two ago. It was discussed quite a bit in the thread that was deleted and here:
-
I have been going to this location for a few years (when it was Sunny Boy). The renovations are nice, but yes it's still small. The masseurs used to be all Asians (at least that was the case whenever I was there) but now there's a mix of types. I had an appointment with Ben last week but he was trying to steer business towards the other guys so I agreed. His name is Winn. Good massage but devoid of anything till the end, which was very mechanical. And I was shorted about 20 min on a 90 min massage. I'd still like to try Ben but otherwise...meh.

When I'm looking for someone to bottom for me, I tend to stick to guys advertising as "bottom" or possibly "vers/bottom". I've had trouble with guys who advertise as versatile and say they can and will bottom for me but then the truth comes out that they are more top than anything else. If I do meet someone who is versatile, I try to be even clearer about my expectations. And I would NEVER hire a vers/top!

I have taken pics of escorts before, but it is almost always something we have agreed upon in advance. When it's a last minute agreement, it's only because I'll bring it up in conversation that I'm always looking for guys to model for my Instagram account. Occasionally, they will be interested and ask to model for me. But again, that is the exception, not the norm. When I schedule an escort for a photo shoot, I might take 100-200 pics. For a last minute/afterthought, I might take 10-15 pics, more if they are really into it.
