One of my least favorite hires. Much more escorty than massage. He was kind of annoying and very unskilled at massage.

I started getting massage in my late 20s. There were few instances when masseur said he is not comfortable doing massage and i definitely don't look younger then my age.

I think the point of asking that question is not to have the expectation of a completely "clean" partner based on the answer; rather, it's to narrow the field: logic suggests that one who is open to barebacking is more at risk for a plethora of infections. By avoiding those who are open and enthusiastic barebackers and staying only with those who insist on condoms, one is improving the odds of an "STI-free" encounter. Note, I said "improving the odds" not "guaranteeing."
 
To use a different example: many people drink and drive, and you can never be certain who is sober and who isn't. But given the choice, do you go with the driver who says "sure, I tie one on every day" or the one who says they don't drink? Neither is a guarantee, but I get the logic of going with the latter.

I have had those same comments as well but it doesn't seem like any masseurs care that much about the age of their clients just as long as you are respectful. Initially I did feel a little awkward but I got over that quickly

I feel you. I typically hire only my my age or younger, and my limit for older is usually 40 and under. It’s just a comfort thing for me. I’m more comfortable with guys my similar age.

I've only seen two guys. The first guy was in his late 40s/early 50s, I think. The second guy was 35. He's the one that commented to me he doesn't get a lot of guys around our age.
