Maybe "to hate" is not the most appropriate word. "To dislike", "to feel envy" could be better verbs. But do not be too strict please.
 
 
As for me I don't hate anyone for sure. "Love for everyone except your former colleagues" - sorry, you are not right. Im trying to teach myself to love everyone. But I do feel a positive challenge to show something and prove something to some of my former colleagues. It's my personal thing though and I told about it here ONLY because I was asked about my personal motivation and it was a little part of my personal motivation...

Sorry again, but I don't see any "problems", I see development, goals to achieve... The main idea of the system you described as the one you didn't like was actually created based on opinions we have collected here on the forum. Anyway we will keep collecting different opinions and keep developing

Tristan, I worked for Rentboy.com, but I didn't rule the company. I will tell you a "secret". Some former Rentboy.com colleagues hate me because we differ in our opinions about everything. They also hate my child Rentboy.pro because they think like "Why me? Why not them?". Well, because my guys and I finally did it while our "friends" were lazy and scared...
 
 
The people who made decisions about how much to charge you during Rentboy.com times are no longer on board. Rentboy.com made a few mistakes, just like every other company. However it has never been just business for business, it also was for the good and for the community.
 
 
Maybe it could have been better for us to choose a different word for a new brand. We meet people who are afraid of "Rentboy" word too often (just read the beginning of this thread). Sometimes we meet people like you who dont like Rentboy.pro because of some Rentboy.com's mistakes...
 
 
But we love Rentboy.com times. We will try to end up "post-rentboy era" when everyone in the industry started to hide everything. We will fix Rentboy.com's mistakes. Of course, we make our own mistakes from time to time, we are just humans, but we always try to admit and fix our mistakes ASAP. We are open for constructive crits.

I have nothing bad to say about your new site.
 
However, I have some constructive criticism.
 
The other day when I asked about your business model, I did not get an honest answer. Rather than give me an answer that was not accurate, it would have been better if you had ignored my question rather than to give the answer you gave.
 
Looking through this long thread with more than 260 responses, there is no question that you responded far more than you should have.
 
As you know, the more you responded, the more posts were made. Eventually, the posts became hostile and negative toward you and your co-worker.
 
I again say that it would have been better for you to ignore the posts you did not like, even though you and your co-worker had a tremendous urge to do so.
 
It seems a shame that you feel that you and your colleagues should abandon your efforts to build a new site. You really should reconsider that fast and possible unwise decision.
 
Clearly, some questionable things were done to get material for your site. However, I don't think there was malice intended.
 
Why not work on building the new site in private and then, when the site is complete, come back with an announcement that will make many people happy.
 
To show a comparison of your behavior in this thread, I can think of a different person (a crazy man who occupies the United States White House) who repeatedly comes out (via twitter and elsewhere) and stirs up scenarios that are either untrue or that antagonizes people. Learn from that lunatic example. Don’t keep stirring the pot!

I read the whole thread & didn't see much hate at all, just criticism (& a few bitchy comments here & there) like any new site/business usually gets. You guys just took everything too personal, & didn't know how to be open & honest about your intentions/business practices. You guys also never knew how to respond well, but I give you a pass on that do to English not being your first language(?).

Agreed. Probably too much of blaming for the idea of a free intensively growing site for everyone:) If for doing the same things Rentmen is good for some of you and we are bad, no problem, just stay with them. And keep having ignorance as an answer if you will not like something about their company;)
