The only time I've received a HE at a spa was when I was clearly hard when I rolled over.

I usually leave my dick pointing down between my legs so that when the masseur goes to massage my hamstrings and lifts up the towel a bit he sees my (usually throbbing) dick sitting out there. It gives a good enough hint

I would say that subtle hints are the way to go, if it's a legit establishment. Money on the table seems like a bit much. I had a guy at a legit place who gave me a massage, but nothing happened. I gave him a quick look below the belt on the way out, and the next time I left my underwear (no locker room) on the top of my clothes pile. Left my arms hanging down to the side, didn't flinch away when his leg pressed against my arm. that sort of thing. It worked.

You don’t have to tip self employed owners, which massuers and escorts are. They are already making $150 or more an hour, which they don’t have to share with a spa or salon. Tipping them is just stupid and you might as well throw your money in the trash.

Wrong. You only need to tip lower wage earnings and/or those that pay a significant chunk to someone else to work. You don’t have to tip masseurs.

Massuers, especially gay borderline escorts, are getting paid a lot and don’t have to pay someone else. They are business owners. They make per hour akin to that of lawyers and doctors. It doesn’t matter that they aren’t giving 40 massages a week because that’s not the point of tipping. You never need to tip someone who is self-employed.

Obviously if a masseur is working for a spa, a tip is totally expected and should be given (Unless the service was terrible) because the spa takes a large cut of the fee. But if the masseur is working out of their home, taking the full profit, which these days is way more than most people make an hour, usually cash, I don’t feel obligated to tip. It’s got to be completely mind blowing to give more than $160 for a massage in my opinion. If someone’s flat rate was around $100, then I’d likely throw in some extra.

Was the service good? Consider a tip. Was it lousy? Pay your fee and look for someone else next time.

I will point out, though, that if you are an independent business person and relying on people to pay you more than your advertised prices....well, then it's possible that isn't always the best approach to take.

Oh, it is important to cow-toe to those guys who are just plain ole prostitutes. Thoughts like this are what got us paying $300 and more. I completely disagree.

I saw Miles earlier this week in Atlanta. Times have changed. He hesitates to text upfront about activities beyond the massage, but he did say in his text to make an appointment and "we'll see." I believe once a client shows up and he feels comfortable that the client is not a cop or someone who is very unattractive, then Miles will loosen up. He was in the nude, gave a great sensual massage (his massage skills are very good, as others here have noted), and allowed mutual touching, for a reasonable upcharge of course. He is a very handsome guy, and looks very good for 40. Just keep in mind that he is 40, so anyone who prefers younger guys may not be impressed. Oh, and the chatty stuff has evidently stopped.
