Most of the U.S. problem is low mask-wearing rate (encouraged by certain politicians) and lack of testing (and lack of quick results). Plenty of other countries have gotten the virus under control. Meanwhile we have lots of people who refuse to wear a mask for even the short time it takes to get groceries. Not to mention super-spreader events like the South Dakota motorcycle rally, the Ozarks huge pool party, certain maskless political rallies, colleges reopening for in-person classes and expecting college kids not to behave like college kids... But enough about that - I’ve gotten 3 massages in DC since June and the masks seem to have worked even in that situation. It’s Sept. 27 and I’m still here. ???

I had kind of an odd experience a few months ago (since quarantine started) with an Instagram influencer/model who has been on TV recently. I’m about twice his age and I think people in their 20s can’t fully grasp how much harder it can be to get or stay fit once you’re not in your 20s anymore. Especially when it’s not part of your job to be in top shape, and in fact the job demands a LOT of desk time... But I’m sure he could help some other people. I had a really hot, knowledgeable trainer before I moved to DC and haven’t found an affordable one here yet.
