  1. Is it that simple? It's my word against his, after all. When such disagreement happen, should I refuse to pay him and see the manager for settlement or should I pay him and then speak to the manager? In that case, what's the point of seeing the manager if I don't get anything back and still overpay. You might be correcting the problem for the future but not MY problem.

     

    You also say "Miscounting songs is never allowed and it is very clear to every dancer when they are hired." OK, maybe, but are you sure you're doing a good job at it? I had come to a point where I became very distrustful. The story about Jones just confirms that the problem is still there and that's a shame.

     

    I'm glad we're having this discussion. This is something that has been bothering me for a long time. In the last few months, I started to go to Stock more frequently as I found it more enjoyable. I hope things will keep improving in the future.

  2. No. Like many people, I prefer to let it go and just don't rehire the dancer. However, I'm not ruling out complaining to the management if this happens again in the future. When hiring new dancers, I think the management should make it clear to them that such behavior is unacceptable.
