I think there is no standard definition of that term. Totally depends on the chemistry between the masseur and client as 2 consenting adults.

To add perspective to my prior feedback, I saw him once about 5 years ago at his place in Hells Kitchen, strictly as a masseur. His massage skills were not great and he actually used a machine, instead of his hands, for some part of the massage. His English was also very limited. Overall, a very friendly guy.

He used to live in Seattle. I never met him, but by text he seemed awfully straight. It's been several years, and I can't remember now if he was advertising as an escort, masseur or both. I used to see his ad on Backpage frequently in those days.
