That would depend on the city also. In most areas of the country 250-300 is an average rate while in the middle most guys won't take those high rates. It does make sense to do it when asking for 2 hours as you and other posters have said. -

Agreed! I answered your own question, it's time to move on and hire someone else. I do understand someone relocking his pics after not hearing from a potential client for 2 days, but all questions should be answered and special such an important question like his rate. -
It's also a generational thing, unfortunately I posted this in Friday Funnies, I'm not sure if it's a parody but it's certainly inspired by the interactions of @Ali Gator and others who work with young people..
