    Like homeless don't sneaking in to spend the night in the staircase or thuggish looking people walking in... I've been asked to show my keycard late at night before walking into my hotel.

    I never said anything about a confrontation. To be honest with you the hotels only care about folks not being loud at night or mean to other guests and paying their bills. you're right, be more concerned with facial recognition technology and not by the guy at the front desk.

    Hundred of folks do that every day! My only concern about discretion is when I go to a small boutique hotel in Provincetown or the French Quarter and they just don’t care because they know what’s going on...
