    I was drafted into the Army in June 1967 and served in The United States and Southeast Asia until is was discharged in June 1969. Army pay was extremely low for enlisted personnel. Until I was permanently employed in early 1970, I worked in supermarket in Natick, Massachusetts every Doug Flutie lived (a child then). But, I was lucky because of a pension and disability from the VA
