Oh, I see someone else also found this as a workaround. Well it's better than nothing. For now.

It's June 16, 2025. I just tried to restart my membership and saw they don't take Visa. I was trying to do a autorenewing membership. BUT on a whim I tried to choose a one-time non repeating purchase for a month. AND IT WORKED! My profile is active and confirmed. So that's a temporary workaround for me. I prefer autorewing monthly as it's cheaper. I might look into getting an MC card.
