Saw him while in Raleigh this weekend. The pictures on his profile are outdated as he's currently not nearly as muscular or hairy. I didn't go through with the session. Might not be important to some but when all we have to go on is a picture and possibly fake reviews in making a decision to book services, your current shape should be represented. I made it as far as inside the door before I made up an excuse of leaving something in my car with no intent on coming back. He saw through my excuse and said "you can leave, it's no problem". He may have the best hands in the world but I'd booked with him based on his picture and reviews. Even the review as recent as November 2024 says his photos are accurate when he's clearly not the same guy as pictured. At the end of the day, this only reinforces my desire to take a step back from such services and re-evaluate things on my end. Maybe it's just the dudes on the east coast, DC and below, who pull this bait and switch.

Don't waste your time or money. I took one for the team and booked with David recently while he was in Raleigh. I booked 90 min and he tried to rush through to the HE about 30 min in. No table or technique. I was confused when he told me to turn over after just rubbing oil on my backside with barely any pressure. Horrible experience, at least when trying to book an appointment. Was going to be in Charlotte in early February (2024), so reached out to see if he was available later that evening. He responded back that there was a neighboring house fire where someone died and his street was closed down. I mentioned I'd be there later in the evening and he would check back in to see if things were clear. According to him things cleared up around 2 PM on his street so we planned for 630. About an hour later (3 PM) I get a text from him saying he had a family emergency and needed to cancel for the evening. No harm no foul. A couple weekends later I decided to try again when I was back in Charlotte. He responded back that he was booked up all day (Saturday) and to try for tomorrow. I mentioned I was leaving out tomorrow afternoon, so it would need to be in the morning. He mentioned he'd need to move some clients around but otherwise seemed amenable. I checked back in later that evening, no response. The next morning I checked in to see if he was available. He responded back that he was all booked up - keep in mind he recommended that I try for this day given him being all booked up yesterday. Frustrating to say the least. Given this interaction, I'm willing to bet he no longer practices massage but keeps his profile active MF for some reason. On closer inspection of his MF page, his last massage review is March 10, 2018. That's almost six years to have no reviews if he's as good as his prior reviews indicate. This guy is a "zombie" masseur, if that's a term. Good luck in booking an appointment with him. All signs point to him not offering any.
