Regarding this new 28 Men's Spa, has anyone else got a text from them 929-595-1674 without having visited the location? I have. So I texted back asking who it is that is texting me and how did they get my number? However I can't get a direct answer from them. The most I got was "this is Andy". I asked where did you work before 28 so I know who this is? The answer was "worked many places". I asked again can you please tell me which places, and he texted back same response, "Many Places".  Oye!  I know it's not Andy from W Men Spa, because I have his number and I'm sure he would text me from his number to tell me and not play games .  So anyone have knowledge of who this might be?

Any update on 28 Mens Spa?  Anyone been or know who Andy is?

  2. Not sure if Ben is monitoring this page anymore, but I'm hoping we might get an updated email soon with some pics of the new guys.  Also, is Max still working?  He's been off the schedule for a few weeks, and last time I had tried to see him, they told me that they weren't sure if he was going to show that day and to ask for someone else. :(

Anyone that you would recommend to ask for there when I go?

I have only seen Jimmy who I think runs the place.  I don't know any of the other therapists, but I enjoyed him.

    The pricing seems wrong. $140 for a 60min, but $130 for a 4hand 60min?

The price is wrong.  I've been and he charges $55.  It's also on Groupon.  I'd call and make sure before you book, but that price is absolutely wrong.

I called for Peter at Renew 8th Ave last week and the lady told me he works Fri., Sat., and Mon., but who knows if that's true.

It's true.  I saw him on a Monday.  If you are looking for something specific, Peter's a good option.  But other therapists there provide a better actual massage in my experience.

Looks like a chain of "strictly legit" day spas pitched mainly to women, and likely staffed by same.  Were you able to request a masseur, rather than a masseuse?

I was able to request a masseur.  The guy was aggressive and beat me up, but in the best way possible and I felt like I had really been adjusted.  Was sore the next day.  Again, strictly legit.

Anybody have good experiences at All Seasons Bodywork on 43rd and 9th? Just visited yesterday and curious if there are any opportunities for regulars. Solid massage.

Had a really great massage there.  Nothing beyond that in my experience.  I'd return just for the massage.

  8. Had a pretty terrible experience at New Yorker Men Spa this weekend.  Beyond the awful experience, the guy demanded more money over a near 100% tip, which I gave because the door was locked as I was exiting.  Feel free to DM me if you want more details, but I will be avoiding this place in the future.

Tried my hand at Renew York again, this time with Eddie. Amazing legit massage, but I left with a major case of BB because there were a lot of signals that it was potentially going someplace else.

So I have been to Renew York 3 times in the past few weeks, and have had different male therapists each time... Eddie, Michael, and someone else that I can't remember.  The legit massage is great, and I went because I REALLY needed a through legit massage.  But I thought it was just me... it definitely feels like they are teasing you at one point.  I legit thought it was potentially going further... but then it doesn't.  And I also left with major BB.  Glad it wasn't my imagination!!!
