What’s the 411 on New Yorkers Men’s Spa over at 6th ave? Not sure to trust google reviews. I heard it is better to get actual opinions here from the people that has actually experienced the service there.

Went there yesterday. A week before my appointment I texted the number I found off google and the manager sent me photos of the boys available which were generic except for maybe 2 or 3. Chris from 27/HK was on there and I know he was fired from his last job but I wanted to give him a try so I asked 2 days ago if he was available and they told me he wasn’t working there anymore but recommended me Andres (short buff Latino). I scheduled an appointment and they have me the address: 862 6th Ave (which matched the one on google)

Upon arrival, I was outside the door knocking for a good 10 minutes. I called the manager and they said they were waiting for me and I said that’s weird I’m literally outside your door knocking. It was then I was told that they gave me the wrong address and New Yorker has been CLOSED. They gave me the right address which led to Energy Men spa (I guess they’re owned by same person and they merged.), which is a 15 minute walk from the first address he gave.

I was annoyed high key but I pushed through with my appointment with Andres. Massage was okay but not enough to make me forget how annoyed I was lol.

Yeah my one and only time they messed up who I wanted to see saying my guy was not there when he was, switch and bait! And the place it self is not to my liking, kinda shabby IMHO🤷🏻‍♂️ have no plans to go back

Both times they messed up was when they said the masseur i requested wasnt ready because I arrived too early. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment lol

Wooof! G Man is kind of a waste for the most part. Joe was the mid session poker/tip negotiator.
Then there was Jerry. Woof horrible massage and like 10 minutes in wanted action. It’s like they prefer the action over actually massaging there.  I was like screw this place lol. it’s also kinda dank.

What is happening to G Man? Roy, Joe, Jerry and I had the same bad experience with Jon a couple of weeks back. On top of that Romeo (the manager) has messed up my first two appointments.

Had an annoying experience at GMan. Requested Jon because of reviews. Massage was actually fantastic. So I’ll give credit there. And it started to get interesting from the jump. I personally prefer actually getting a decent massage and have things progress naturally or at least later. So having something be initiated pretty early was throwing me off. And then he kind of tapped me on the shoulder and took me out of my massage and started requesting tips and also wasn’t really making a ton of sense with what he was asking. I think, maybe, it was about what I was wanting but he was just kind of saying one word questions and I didn’t know how to respond. So I mentioned to start with massage first.  And since I was unclear on what he was asking, it kind of just fell off from there.  And he may have misunderstood what I meant. I ended up not leave happy. BUT the massage was stellar so at least there’s that. So I assume it will be worth it, if you just go in expecting him to ask full details- but only after things start taking off. And it will be about more tips. I know others have great experiences so mine may be a one off. This is definitely a new one for me.

Booked a session with Jon last week and had the same experience. I was looking forward to it because Ive read great reviews. Within 10-15 minutes he insinuated HE and asked me how much I was willing to tip, I gave him a number and he said that’ll only get me a massage. Immediately got turned off and his voice filled with utter disappointment when I paid (with tip added still) at the end did not help.

  5. Hi everyone! I was hoping you could help out a massage newbie in NYC. I’m not too familiar with how the spas here work, Im used to the ones abroad where masseurs go all the way (or the very least, not just hands stuff). Are there any spas in nyc you’ve been to where I can expect more than usual massage?

  6. Hello! Pretty new here and pretty new to the city. I’ve always enjoyed going to men spas overseas and wanted to try out the scene in NY. I’m assuming the culture’s different in some ways, is there anyone I can DM to show me the ropes? 😄
