Eight months ago, I booked a four-handed session. I texted at least two weeks before the desired date/time. Received a response after a week or so. Reserved a local hotel room (I was staying on Long Island for a couple of nights - I just wouldn't have spent a night there). Confirmed the appointment a day or two before. On the day I texted around 4 PM (for a 7:30 appt) saying I was at the hotel. I received a text back saying that one of the pair had hurt his back chopping wood (it was June) and would be unavailable. If I wanted, I could reschedule. I never tried again.

Have occasionally seen questions here about the availability of manscaping services in the NYC area. A place just opened in Port Chester, NY, right near the CT border: The website is www.TheBareMan.com and the business can be found on Instagram (thebaremangrooming) and Twitter (@thebaremangroom), as well. Went there today. Well appointed, immaculate, and comfortable space. The owner, "G", is trained and licensed in New York State. He offers waxing, clipper, and a combination of the two. I was beyond satisfied with the service, pleased that this is now offered in Westchester, and, because of the business' proximity and ease in scheduling, regular appointments are possible.

Haven't noticed much of a decrease in fees but have been receiving texts from providers I met with ages ago (and not since) asking if I'm interested in a session. No complaints about any of them or the sessions I had with them - just surprised by the out-of-the-blue contact.
