  1. I lived in San Francisco for several years, and in my experience it doesn’t have the same level of male massage parlors catering to men that NYC does. Have been to M spa - cruisy locker room area with a small steam room that you can use before/after your sessions - but every massage I’ve had there has been therapeutic only.

Back in 2018/19 had a regular person at Kabuki and one at Archimedes Banya that over time became more sensual massage. But don’t think either therapist is at either location any more.

  2. I had one session with him - outcall - and did not repeat. Mediocre skills, up charge route, and just was really expensive for what it was. Believe he was also at Hush spa earlier this year as Niko for a hot minute.

  3. I’ve had one great massage with him - found him through Thervo I think before he was on RM. had a 90 min session at his place in Midwood (think he’s moved though?) - good blend of deep and slower strokes. Haven’t been very tempted to repeat though. Very, very nice and friendly guy too.

  4. Hush is the regular men’s spa I go to here in NYC - primarily for massage and sugaring, and once facial from Louis (which included leg and arm massage). I’ve had services from all of the current staff except Shawn. My breakdown:

Julio - saw him for sugaring a few times back in 2021 when I first started going at the old location. Good work, nice guy, great conversation. Think he works limited hours.

Mark - mostly see him for sugaring, and have also had several massages. He’s great at both, especially his attention to detail with sugaring. Nice guy and great conversation, sensual (took like 3 or 4 massages).

David/Ducky - seem him for a couple of massages. Decent and nice guy, but his touch feels almost clinical to me, so haven’t repeated recently.

Louis: mostly for massage, exact same experience as described by others above. Sometimes he massages without a shirt on. Softer touch - enjoy massages with him. Sometimes the energy seems to build but nothing’s happened. Curious with others who have a different experiences how that happened.

Omar: seen him a couple of times for massage and sugaring. Ok with sugaring and decent massage. He’s handsome and late 40s/50. Wild first experience with him - super talkative as well, which I don’t always like during a massage.

Jay - don’t think he’s there any more, but used to get massages from him - very skilled at deep tissue which I sometimes like to get.

As for the facilities- as others has said also preferred the first location, but I keep going back bc for the price point it’s a good deal. I know I’ll get a decent massage. My own experience at other men’s spas here is it can be a crapshoot in quality and have been pressured hard for tips - and those spots I don’t return to.

  5. I’ve had several massages with Skya and a couple with Michael - and one 4-handed with both of them. I ended up preferring Skya’s massages so I became a regular client of his in second half of 2020 and 2021 until I left the Bay Area.

Massages with both were no draping and therapeutic with a sensual edge. With Skya they became slightly more sensual and then after like 8 or 9 times HE. However, when I was back in SF last March I booked one with him, and it was back to therapeutic with nothing else. Didn’t question it, but was disappointed based on prior experience. They’re both really nice guys too and can’t go wrong. Also only had outcalls when they traveled to the Bay - was supposed to go to their place once on Nevada City but timing didn’t work out.

I'm curious about this place - the reviews are somewhat mismatched.

I note they have men-only days on Thursdays and sundays - has anyone been?

    Any action happen there?

I’ve been several times both for men-only and coed days. Men only is clothing optional and, while it’s not technically supposed to happen, every time I’ve been on Sundays or Thursday for men only, there’s plenty of action happening.

That said, it is a great place for a traditional schvitz and they have massage, platza and body scrub options. It’s also not a quiet place, so often lots of talking & conversation happening.

    Worth a visit.
