Perhaps my comment was misconstrued. I simply recorded my initial response to what seemed like a provider's oversized reply to my question whether he kissed. With his exclamation that "99% " of those who would ask such a question would present with horrible oral hygiene, I assumed he would likely include me in this group. Clearly he was triggered by the question and responded strongly and self-protectively. I now better understand kissing from the perspective of a provider but will still ask the question when I consider whom I hire. And I am now better prepared for whatever response I receive. With a recent hire there was kissing during our play. I rinsed with mouthwash before his arrival and provided mouthwash to him and myself after our play. He seemed to appreciate this. Glad we are having this discussion as kissing greatly enhances my hiring experience. FWIW, I meet with a dental hygienist every three months for a cleaning.
