Westboro IS an abomination (it's just an hour from where I am in Kansas City, so it's well-known and loathed here). But if "fair and balanced" is Fox's claim, then it should let the Phelps clan's abominableness emerge from the interview and their own words and not because the reporter got into a slanging match with them! Of course, I think we all know just how "fair and balanced" Fox really is, but it's just as unappetizing and unprofessional when they turn against one of their "own" as when they attack liberals.

Fox had better be careful before it scares off the rest of its base.
