This was sent by a friend (and fellow M4Mer). It makes for interesting reading. It also makes for interesting reflection about the war enthusiasm of a gang of "super-patriot" Republicans who, by and large, avoided military service themselves. Perhaps the caution of Democrats to embroil the U.S. in a quagmire like Iraq comes from the fact that so many of them have been in active service (many in combat) and actually KNOW the risks and dangers firsthand?
