What happened - temporary or signs of the times?

I arrived in Sao Paulo on Thursday.  I went to Lagoa on Thursday and Friday nights.

In earlier threads about Sao Paulo, I read several credible other posters describe how much Lagoa has gone down hill since the corona virus scare was lifted.

The two nights that I went to Lagoa, it was terrible and the crowds did not resemble the crowds of the past even considering the move from the large original lagoa.

I did not bother to go to Lagoa tonight. I likely will go there tomorrow evening.  If Lagoa  has not improved, I will head for the other newer sauna, Sauna 555.

If the new sauna is still a flop, I will head for Porto Alegre to liven things up.

The rest of the city is okay so my current trip is not a total waste of time and money.

I went to Lagoa again on Monday.  To my surprise, there was an available garoto that fit all my expectations and then some.

The garoto and several other of his Brazilian friends are visiting Sao Paulo from Rio.  They plan to stay until the end of the month.

The garoto said that he and his friends came here because things are rather slow at the saunas in Rio at this time.  That sounds a little familiar to me, only backwards.

Normally I do not spend much time with a specific garoto.  However, this guy is so unique in looks and charm, I found myself setting aside many of my usual sauna/garoto rules.

So, even though I previously joined several other forum posters complaining about Lagoa sauna and the lack of good looking garotos, I must, in this one instance, recant because of the present situation.

So, I guess the expression "It only takes one." is true.  At least it is true at the present time.

Lately when I go to São Paulo, I almost always run into garotos from Rio at Lagoa. And likewise, when in Rio, I often see garotos from São Paulo at 117 or 202. I doubt it’s because any of these saunas are slower than the ones in the other city. I think it’s because these GPs constantly need to change / expand their client lists. Often, familiarity breeds contempt.

I am still seeing the garoto I met last week at Lagoa sauna.

That is why I have not reported on 555 sauna or returned to Lagoa.

It has only been a week since meeting this handsome and charming garoto but I must say that he is unique and could charm a bird out of a tree.

I have had a chance to show him a lot of nice things and places in Sao Paulo.  He seems genuinely interested and appreciates seeing different places throughout the city of Sao Paulo.  He has taken several hundred photos of places we have been.

I cannot help but wonder when the fire will go out for me or for him, on this new garoto?  After all, nothing is forever except for forever.

In the meantime, I am having a world of fun.

Brazil is not dead yet!

Still enjoying the company of the garoto I mentioned in my earlier post.

Therefore, I have not checked out sauna 555 nor have I returned to Lagoa.

The garoto I met has not expressed any interest in returning to Lagoa or seeing 555.

I would be giving updates except for being occupied with an incredible garoto.
