I feel for you. It's awful when you have high expectations due to an escort receiving nothing but paeans (hymns of praise) from experienced fellow hobbyists, and then the meeting turns into a dud either due to poor chemistry, the escort having a bad night, the client having a bad night, or some combination of those factors.

I can particularly remember two occasions (actually 3 as I met one of the escorts twice) where the escorts in question were darlings of the Forum at the time, but my meetings with them were definitely, well, underwhelming to say the least.

I'll relate one of them here. This guy as I mentioned above was a Forum Favorite for years and years. He may may still be escorting although I'm not sure if he is advertising currently. I had been a bit iffy about meeting him as he didn't have any face pictures in his ad, and while he had a nice physique, I usually liked more muscular guys. But the escort had such incredible reviews, and even more impressive were the comments made by our fellows here on the Forum.

So the evening got off to an annoying start when he arrived late. We had dinner and a show to get to. I ended up picking out a random restaurant across the street from my hotel just to speed things along. We even had to tell the waiter we were in a hurry, so we could make the show on time. Then after dinner and the play when we were back at the hotel, he said he didn't know I was interested in topping when I had specified that in my first email. I don't think I had reminded him after that. But maybe I had. But don't you think an experienced escort might have taken the time to re-read our correspondence? In any case we were having an overnight, and my hotel room had a shower. I would have thought that maybe he could have figured out a way to prep himself considering we had all night. The one saving grace for the evening was that he was incredibly gifted at oral. And just my luck that while his physique wasn't horrible or anything, he increased his muscularity noticeably about a year or so after I hired him.

Since I'm single-no kids, without a significant other (most likely never to have one), no close friends, and have *myasthenia gravis-a disease that can have potentially serious (but if I'm lucky, hopefully not) consequences, I'm about to set up a medical power of attorney. Considering my social circumstances, I probably would need to do it even if I didn't have myasthenia. But the MG makes it more of a certainty. I'm going to name my older brother as the 'attorney'.

    Does anyone else have one?

    * In case anyone is interested, I'm doing really well with my myasthenia. I was on 60 mg of prednisone daily for about 2 months. Since then I've been weaning the dose every 4 weeks. I'm currently at 25 mg. After starting the steroids, I became really weak for a while. I had trouble holding my head up. Also I could barely hold a pen to write. And I was having a lot of trouble eating due to trouble swallowing and difficulty chewing due to weak jaw muscles. Sometimes my speech was affected due to a weak tongue although often I was the only one who could notice. Some of this could have been a side effect of the steroids. A significant percentage of patients get weaker when 1st starting steroids before their symptoms get better from them. But it's not like I wasn't having problems before the steroids too. One hypothesis is that steroids have two mechanisms of action. The first is muscle toxicity. That's what causes the weakness and occurs first. The second mechanism is to down regulate whatever part of the immune system is producing the antibodies attacking the muscles. And this is what reduces the symptoms and actually gets the disease under control.

Prior to the steroids, I had been down about 20 pounds due to the trouble eating and some depression. I have gained about 30 pounds since starting the prednisone. And my main symptoms now are some mild trouble swallowing, and some back/neck muscle pain/weakness. But that's the main side effect I've seen. It's never really affected my mood.

It used to work for me using the method I described above. But I think I am going to try @Keith30309's suggestion.

I use an iOS app called Reversee which works great. There’s a free version and paid pro version.

It uses multiple search engines and has an extension that allows you to launch it directly from some other apps.

You can scrape an entire Rentmen profile page in Safari and it pulls every pic; you can then search each one by one.

It has some other nifty features like the ability to easily grab a matching Instagram URL, for example, and auto-cropping.

    Highly recommended.

Perhaps contributing to the confusion, this Patrick advertised for a time under the handle of AllAmericanNYC.

But to be absolutely clear: PatrickNYC is legit and has my highest recommendation.

(FWIW I have met both Patricks under discussion, and have only good things to say about both.)

My mistake. :(I didn't know there was a new Patrick in NYC. The one I listed was in NYC until two years ago. I deleted my post.

However I've been confused for a very long time. My post back in 2016 was also referring to Patrick York who now lives in California. I deleted that one too.

@njr47 I think @bigjoey might have been mistaken too and was talking about the former "NYC" Patrick York now "California" Patrick in his post about the 2013 review. As the Patrick this thread is about (unless he stopped and restarted his ad) only started advertising in 2016.

Sorry but if you are expecting people to pay $2-300 an hour, sending a dick pic is jusr the cost of doing business.

Yes as @instudiocity mentions, in California it is a Medical Directive. My father had one which I was in charge of and I have one which my sister is in charge of. It gives me peace of mind knowing that if I'm incapable of making decisions, there will be someone there that can.

As always...glad to know that you are doing better.

Gman, so glad that things are going well with the myasthenia and you're able to get better while reducing the steroid dose. Are you feeling less of the weakness now?

Have never given medical power of attorney although I've thought about it. Definitely can't hurt.

Luckily in this case the changing of Dorothys from Gale of Kansas to Zbornak (née Petrillo) of Miami (and formerly of NYC) doesn't change the meaning of the phrase at all.
