No, No, No!! Not that tip!!!

It's a laundry tip. I had some ink on a shirt that I needed to get out. I had a vague memory that when I was younger we sprayed hairspray on the spot. Well, I looked it up on the Web. The site I found said the reason that used to work was due to the fact that most hairsprays had tons of alcohol in them. It was the alcohol and not the hairspray that dissolved the ink. Today most hairsprays have either reduced the amount of alcohol or have removed it entirely.

Looking a bit further either on that website or another to find a modern day solution, I came across the suggestion to use hand sanitizer. Most of them are at least 60% alcohol or higher. I've actually used this, and in 3 out of 4 cases so far it's worked. And I have hopes for the 4th shirt. It's removed a lot of the ink. I'm leaving the hand sanitizer on it for a few hours to see if that will remove the last bit. You do have to rub the spot a bit after applying. But this stuff is incredible!!

I have no idea what that could have been a metaphor for.

But if we are talking about an actual stain, then it might. It's going to depend probably on the ink type and how tightly the ink has bonded to the fibers of the shirt. I have a pair of jeans with an ink stain that has been washed and dried repeatedly for over a year. I put some sanitizer on it, and while the spot hasn't come out of it (yet), a lot of ink started dissolving to the point that the spot started spreading. I'd probably let the sanitizer sit on the stain for a while (if you are ok with the possibility that the alcohol might fade the material), rinse with cold water, and keep repeating.

Liquid hand sanitizer is more viscose than rubbing alcohol, so it stays on the stain. It is also easier to apply.

For me I have a couple of things that have led to very good hiring experiences:

    1) Multiple photos. If they only have one or two, I pass.

    2) Do they have any reviews on RM or whatever site. If it’s 4 or less and then all happened very close to one another I’m suspicious. If it’s more, I go farther and keep investigating.

    3) I read their statements in their profile or interview. Do they seem articulate? Responsible? Concerned about connecting? Professional? For instance is their screen name “BigDickDallas?” If so, I’ll probably pass. That sounds like the “wham bam thank ya ma’am “ sort, which isn’t my type. (If it’s yours, that’s up to you.) Basically, I know what I like, and I can tell by the non verbal cues (ie flipping the world off in photos - I’ll pass on that, etc.)

    4) Assuming the above checks out, I do research on here, Daddy’s, google, etc. Assuming those sources indicate a positive meeting, I go to the next step.

    5) I reach out to them in MY preferred method, and provide a detailed account of what I’m looking for. If I get broken sentences as a response or limited response, I move on. For me, I like to have a good, positive connection. Obviously, if there is no courtesy reply, I move on.

I haven’t made many mistakes doing the above.

    Best wishes on your search!

I feel for you. It's awful when you have high expectations due to an escort receiving nothing but paeans (hymns of praise) from experienced fellow hobbyists, and then the meeting turns into a dud either due to poor chemistry, the escort having a bad night, the client having a bad night, or some combination of those factors.

I can particularly remember two occasions (actually 3 as I met one of the escorts twice) where the escorts in question were darlings of the Forum at the time, but my meetings with them were definitely, well, underwhelming to say the least.

I'll relate one of them here. This guy as I mentioned above was a Forum Favorite for years and years. He may may still be escorting although I'm not sure if he is advertising currently. I had been a bit iffy about meeting him as he didn't have any face pictures in his ad, and while he had a nice physique, I usually liked more muscular guys. But the escort had such incredible reviews, and even more impressive were the comments made by our fellows here on the Forum.

So the evening got off to an annoying start when he arrived late. We had dinner and a show to get to. I ended up picking out a random restaurant across the street from my hotel just to speed things along. We even had to tell the waiter we were in a hurry, so we could make the show on time. Then after dinner and the play when we were back at the hotel, he said he didn't know I was interested in topping when I had specified that in my first email. I don't think I had reminded him after that. But maybe I had. But don't you think an experienced escort might have taken the time to re-read our correspondence? In any case we were having an overnight, and my hotel room had a shower. I would have thought that maybe he could have figured out a way to prep himself considering we had all night. The one saving grace for the evening was that he was incredibly gifted at oral. And just my luck that while his physique wasn't horrible or anything, he increased his muscularity noticeably about a year or so after I hired him.
